ISS Mani, headmistress, Government High School, Rasoolpura says, “Thirty teachers contribute Rs 200 per month and we pay two employees to clean the toilet.”

In some schools a few teachers contribute as much as Rs 500 per month. Madhavi Lata, a school teacher of Mudfort School spent one lakh of her own money and got a sump constructed that could store 20,000 l water, which would be sufficient for 15 days.
