Exhibition on Minerals and Fossils from Tuesday
The Telangana State Council of Science and Technology (TSCOST) is organising the ‘Exhibition on Minerals and Fossils’ at University College of Science from November 24.
The Telangana State Council of Science and Technology (TSCOST) is organising the ‘Exhibition on Minerals and Fossils’ at University College of Science from November 24.
The organisation of exhibition is as part of communicating and popularising science with specific focus on students and youth, aiming at developing scientific temper and attitude by TSCOST.
The first-of-its-kind five-day exhibition in the State will be organised in association with Earth Sciences Departments of University College of Science, Osmania University and with the technical collaboration of Muhammad Fasihuddin Makki, a famous Mineralogist of Matrix India Minerals from Pune.
Speaking on the announcement day about the expo, Member Secretary of TSCOST Y Nageshkumar said, “The exhibits proposed for display are of global standards and have the potential to generate curiosity and inquisitiveness among students, research scholars as well as general public on Earth Sciences.”
The exhibition will be held at The Principal office building, University College of Science in Osmania University and will be open for public between 11.00 am to 6.00 pm.
