It is indeed beautiful when dreams and hardships together take flight. The city witnessed a moment worth cherishing, when Hyderabad based young Kuchipudi artiste and founder of Deccan Kuchipudi Art Academy, Haleem Khan released an instructional dance DVD.
The stage of Prasad Labs was vivid with peacock-like movements of children who danced Kuchipudi. The video is a first of its kind and helps in mastering basics of the dance form.
T Harish Rao, minister for irrigation, mining and geology, marketing and legislative affairs, government of Telangana released the DVD. Speaking at the launch event, Harish Rao said that the government is going to establish a complete university for performing arts like music and dance. The DVD is said to be a helpful resource for those who don’t have time to attend classes.
