Tollywood actress Hebba Patel of ‘Kumari F21’ fame launched the “Bouquet Vaddu Mokke Muddu” programme (Say no to Bouquet and Yes to Saplings) during the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Press Club Hyderabad.

Tollywood actress Hebba Patel of ‘Kumari F21’ fame launched the “Bouquet Vaddu Mokke Muddu” programme (Say no to Bouquet and Yes to Saplings) during the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Press Club Hyderabad.
The actress said that the unique made her realise the importance of promoting the concept. “In future, I will accept saplings rather than a bouquet from fans and organisers of any event where I am guest,” she said.
The Khairatabad MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy lauded the concept and said he would adopt the concept immediately. The money thus saved would be given to children in Government schools.
The Press Club President R Ravikanth Reddy explained the concept and said journalists were also ‘social and environmental’ conscious and they wanted to contribute to the society by promoting the sapling concept.
Later, Hebba Patel and Ramachandra Reddy presented saplings and released t-shirts and caps designed on the concept. In addition, journalists distributed saplings in the Secretariat to ministers, MLAs and officials apart from film personalities.
