It is more dispiriting to notice the ongoing ruckus on intolerance and secularism which is leading to no end. We are all well aware about India's unique strength to withstand rightly as a trivet in pressure of times. It is better to stop all this macaronic discussion and lay emphasis on the World Meteorological Organisation’s (WMO) warning about El-Nino effects and rising temperature of earth due to anthropogenic activities.

It is more suicidal though we are well aware about the increasing carbon emissions, we aren't following certain methods to contain it. With the effect of El Nino, we have experienced high temperatures in the months of September and October also. Further it crushed the country's farmer with unprecedented floods in one region and with scanty rainfall in other across the country. Owing to the tyranny of the nature, many a farmer is kissing the hanging post instead of live in neck-deep debts.

This phenomenon has lent wings to the prices of onions, pulses and other essential commodities, which has added fuel to the flame to make the common man face long odds. It is the sacred responsibility of any government to protect the interest of common man and to create a conducive environ for his survival. Enough is enough. Let all the intellectuals, celebrities and scientists and those who are seriously involved in killing their valuable time about 'intolerance' intolerantly, work out modalities to face the deadly challenges posed by the El Nino and rising temperature of earth.
