Instagram is testing a much-requested feature - multiple account support. The team is currently testing the feature with select Android users, with no reports of iOS users seeing the option yet.

Interested users can access the multiple account feature by joining the Instagram beta programme, and then downloading of the app as directed. The feature is visible in Instagram v7.12.0, which can also be downloaded via APK Mirror, but Android Police however notes not all users with that Instagram version see the option, and it appears to be server-side enabled.

Users can log in to another account by tapping Settings>Add Account. From there it is up to the users if they want to log in with their other account or create a new one. Once logged in with more than one account, users can jump between them from the selector placed at the top right corner of the display. A green-coloured notification will be shown once users have logged in to their other account. Since the multiple accounts feature is in beta stages, Instagram is likely to make it live for all the users worldwide soon.
