‘Confluence 2015’, the semi-annual conference of the Toastmasters Clubs of District 98 took off to a flying start with a remarkable inauguration ceremony at JNTU Auditorium recently. The much awaited three-day event, which concluded on Sunday evening, has brought together nearly 1000 delegates from various walks of life representing 130 clubs.

The function incorporated a unique concept of ‘unConferencing’, which aimed to provide an informal space to appreciate and encourage talent and creativity. This space was vibrant much before the formal event began with various elements of passion such as painting, baking, kalamkari, maze making, model village making, etc. on display.

Conference convenor – Srinidhi Dasaka and co-convener – Sneha Modukuri with the support of the host clubs in Hyderabad warmly welcomed the gathering which was then addressed by the key-note speaker - Sivakumar Sethuraman (Head of Facebook in India).

The conference rightfully takes pride in the presence of the World Champion of Public Speaking 2015 – Mohammed-Al Qahtani who addressed the audience and will be delivering a special training session on November 28.

District Director, DTM Dr Brillian SK addressed the audience and wished the division champions to deliver their best at the district stage through the speech evaluation and the humorous speech contest scheduled on the following conference days. In addition, various awards were distributed and the sponsors were felicitated for their contribution toward this grand event.
