Divas all set for Miss India!

Bringing together trendsetters and divas from all over the country, fbb Femina Miss India 2016 auditions took place in Hyderabad, and the winners have been announced. The felicitation of winners took place at Big Bazaar store, Ameerpet on Monday.

The winners of the city auditions were Sai Kumari, Priya Vadlamani, Apoorva Ghale, Andleeb Zaidi and Sharon Rose. Andleeb Zaidi, a second year student of National Institute of Fashion Technology from Lucknow, said, “My mom wanted me to become a model. In fact, she herself had the same dream when she was young, but she had certain family issues. My mom believes that I have the confidence to fulfill that dream.” Zaidi plans to become a fashion designer and start a center for homeless animals.

The two other winners from Andhra Pradesh, both from Vizag are happy to go for the regional round. While Sharon Rose is one; the other, Sai Kumari, a student of Bachelor of Business Sciences feels that this is the right platform for her to become an actress.

Sharing their excitement, Priya Vadlamani, a classical dancer feels positive about the next round. Apoorva Ghale a model from Karnataka says, “I’m very happy that I got selected and can’t wait for what is ahead.”

The girls selected in the Hyderabad round will take part in the regional round, which will be held in three cities across India. Bengaluru has been named as the venue for the regional round of audition contest, with the final audition set to be held in Mumbai. The Miss India 2016 contest will be held after the final contestants from every city and regional category have been selected.
