Sharyn Chan and Tracy Lee StumAs part of the ’16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence’ campaign, renowned 3D chalk artiste from the US, Tracy Lee Stum created a master street art on the cause at Prasads IMAX on Friday. The event was hosted by the US Consulate General, Hyderabad.

“The US Consulate has long recognised artistes as representatives of social change and uses art forms as carriers of social messages. The art work emphasises the solidarity that men and women must show to stop all forms of gender-based violence, particularly the violence against women and children,” said Gabriel Hons-Olivier, public affairs officer, US Consulate General, Hyderabad, speaking on the occasion.

Tracy, who holds a Guinness World Record for the largest street painting (2006), is conducting a workshop on 3D art for those who are interested in learning it and using it to create awareness of social issues. The free entry workshop will be held at the Aaliya School in Gunfoundry on December 5.
