Boys and girls from the host team entered the knockout phase in the 1st SRN Mudiraj Inter-school basketball tournament that is being organised by Johnson Grammar School CBSE in their Habsiguda ground on Friday. Bothe maintained clean slate in the round-robin stage.

While the boys defeated Reqelford International School 32-21, the girls team made short work of Cal Public School 14-4.

Reqelford International School girls, riding on impressive all-round performances by Chetana and Yoshika posted a comfortable win over Secunderabad Public School at 28-6 while Vijaysree and Preethi combined well for St Peter’s Residential International School to defeat Sadhu Vaswani International School 20-6.

The boys from Future Kids defeated St Patrick’s High School 52-11 with M Akash leading the scorers tally with 27 individual points. Aaron Patrick’s opportunism saw him score 18 points in Johnson Grammar CBSE Schools 32-21 win over Reqelford International School.
