Hyderabad emerging as Aero Hub
Gitam University, Hyderabad hosted an international conference on ‘Computer Aided Engineering’ in its campus on Thursday. Dr K Jayaraman, scientist and Director, DRDL and T.Papi Reddy, Chairman, Telangana State Higher Education Council attended the event as the guest of honor and chief guest respectively.

DRDL Director Dr. Jayaraman opined in GITAM Conference
Hyderabad: Gitam University, Hyderabad hosted an international conference on ‘Computer Aided Engineering’ in its campus on Thursday. Dr K Jayaraman, scientist and Director, DRDL and T.Papi Reddy, Chairman, Telangana State Higher Education Council attended the event as the guest of honor and chief guest respectively.
In his inaugural speech Dr K Jayaraman, has urged young researches and engineers to focus on core engineering, especially in view of Hyderabad emerging as the hub of aerospace products for defense industries as well as exports.
He proudly announced that, “our country is in a position to produce all the required machinery and defense products, and able to export the same to 75 countries across the globe. Within 10 to 15 years there are no imports, he predicted”. “DRDL is planning to establish products complete simulation centre in the coming future”, K Jayaraman added.
T Papi Reddy congratulated the organisers on their chose the conference theme because CAE is crucial in accelerating product development process, engineering problems solving and various aspects of this fast growing area have a huge impact on national human development.
