Bringing in the Christmas cheer

Nativity dramas, carols, festive skits, songs and celebratory cakes took centre stage as schoolchildren of the Centenary Baptist Church High School at Picket in Secunderabad conducted Christmas celebrations on Tuesday.

Telugu actor, Br Raja Abel attended the event to the amazement of the students and spoke to the enthused young ones about the significance of the festival.

Secretary of school, B Sunny Francis said, “Christmas is celebrated by people around the world. It's a time when family and friends come together and remember good things.”

Rev. B Charles Theodore said, “This is the festival for children all over the world. As such, children's part is more in the celebrations in a grand way.”
