Cervical cancer screening camp at MS Maktha

The Lions Club in Bhagyanagar in coordination with Family Planning Association of India (FPA), Hyderabad and MNJ Cancer Hospital organised a cancer detection camp for women at MS Maktha on Tuesday.
Upto 104 women registered for the camp out of which 27 women underwent Pap smear examination for cervical cancer and received medicines free of cost from Dr Shankar Mahadev, Dr Sandhya and Dr Manasa from MNJ Cancer Hospital and Dr Nalini Devrajan from FPA, who checked up the patients.
The camp was inaugurated by members of the Club and attended by Wing commander MVN Rao, Secretary, FPA Hyderabad, President Lions Club of Bhagyanagar Dr Renu Kapoor and Prashant Saraf from FPA.
