Encroachment issues top Prajavani programme
Issues pertaining to encroachments topped the list of grievances in the Prajavani programme held at the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) office recently.

Out of the 28 grievances voiced by the citizens, as many as seven complaints pertained directly to encroachments and several others were related to the issue of illegal occupation of land or trespassing and conduct of petty business.
Deviation from the building permission was one of the main accusations by the citizens. The other grievances include provision of street lights at Syedaliguda Yadav Basthi, Guddimalkapur and Baghlingampally, supply of gym equipment, request from funds for underground drainage pipelines at Kakatiya Hills, Chanda Nagar in Serilingampally constituency, construction of multipurpose community Hall at Nehru Nagar Park, West Marredpally and repair of potholes in Bapuji Nagar, Musheerabad.
