Khammam: The Special Observer of MLC elections, K D K Verma, directed the officials to allow only those voters who possess an identity card and also told them to conduct the elections peacefully and smoothly.

He inspected the polling station at the Conference Meeting Hall at the Sub-Collectorate Office in Bhadrachalam on Thursday.
Later he held a review meeting with the officials at the RDO chamber. Verma gave suggestions to the officials on how to conduct the elections and the precautions that should be taken at the polling stations before the elections.
He directed the officials not to allow anyone into the polling station including ministers’ gunmen and public representatives, who do not have voter identity cards. Section 144 must be implemented strictly near the polling station and must not allow anyone to run meals or tiffin centres in and around the polling station.
The polling process must be recorded by allowing photo and videographers in and out of the polling station. Revenue Divisional Officer of Bhadrachalam Venkateswarlu, Tahsildar Rama Krishna, MPDO Rama Devi and Lakshman Singh were present along with others.
