Karimnagar: The electric wire arranged to protect the crops from wild animals claimed a farmer’s life. This bizarre incident took place in Challur village of Veenavanka mandal on Thursday morning.According to the police, Sambani, 45, went to his agricultural fields in the morning and accidentally came into contact with the electric wire of the adjacent field, fixed by the owner to protect his maize crop from bears and wild pigs. Sambani died on the spot.
