KCR gets away with EC caution after model code violation

The Election Commission has advised Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to be careful in the future in connection with the violating the model code of conduct during the Warangal Lok Sabha bypoll campaign.

The Election Commission has asked both KCR and KTR to give a written explanation within 48 hours of receipt of the notice.
Responding to the EC's notice, the Telangana CM replied that he informed about the Kalyan Laxmi scheme to Backward Communities in the last Assembly session and it is nothing new.
After considering the explanation, the EC cautioned KCR to be more careful in the future and did not take any action against him.
