As part of Consumer Affairs Week, the Civil Supplies Department is conducting weeklong awareness programmes to the consumers, according to Joint Collector A Ravinder Reddy.
Nizamabad: As part of Consumer Affairs Week, the Civil Supplies Department is conducting weeklong awareness programmes to the consumers, according to Joint Collector A Ravinder Reddy.
The JC released the poster on National Consumer Affairs Week at his chamber. He said the ‘National Consumer Affairs Day’ celebrations would be conducted on December 23. Weeklong programmes on various consumer-related issues like ‘food safety’ and ‘food adulteration’ would be held.
Awareness camps, elocution, and essay competitions would be held at Kamareddy, Bodhan, Nizamabad and Banswada Degree Colleges and certificates would be issued to the winners at the valedictory programme on December 23 at Pragathi Bhavan, JC Ravinder Reddy said.
RDO Yadireddy, DSO Krishna Prasad, DEO Lingaiah, DCIC Chairman Rajeshwar and others were present.
