Collector threatens to stall doctors salaries

Addressing a review meeting with doctors at the Collectorate here on Friday, the District Collector told them to take steps to ensure that the number of delivery cases in government hospitals increase. Every month, there should be 10 deliveries in each PHC and each ANM should bring a delivery case every month, she added.
The Collector threatened to surrender the doctors of Chigurumamidi and Uppal to the State government if they failed to change their attitude. She directed the District Medical and Health Officer to serve showcase notice to Jammikunta doctor, who failed to attend the review meeting.
