Strings and Tunes’ founded by Ashrita D’souza arranged an ‘Exposure concert’ for its young students at the Birla Science Centre, Hyderabad recently. Students from Hyderabad and Mumbai participated and sang broadway, pop, jazz, musical theatre, movies, folk songs and western classical songs.

‘Strings and Tunes’ founded by Ashrita D’souza arranged an ‘Exposure concert’ for its young students at the Birla Science Centre, Hyderabad recently. Students from Hyderabad and Mumbai participated and sang broadway, pop, jazz, musical theatre, movies, folk songs and western classical songs.

There were about 25 participants including Olivia Joseph, Anusha Gondimalla, Hansika Prasad, Satakshi Goel, Gayatri Sharma, and others who performed. Welsh and Spanish folk songs as well as a Brazilian Christmas Carol were some of the numbers performed.

A unique presentation at the event was the given by the group ‘Crescendo Voices’, which generally meets every Sunday to practice towards becoming a professional choir. The guests Aruna Bahuguna, Director National Police Academy and Dr Naveen Elias, eminent pianist gave away the certificates to the young students.
