Hyderabad: Telangana Telugu Desam leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy Sunday criticised that Telangana is witnessing Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao rule instead of Ambedkar rule.

Ravula alleged that KCR is encouraging defections and running camp politics for winning in the MLC and GHMC elections. Addressing a press conference at NTR Trust Bhavan here, he accused the TRS leadership of giving targets to the ministers to lure and attract opposition leaders for the purpose.

He alleged that KCR is misusing power and threatening leaders of other parties to join the TRS for winning MLC and GHMC elections. For this he is pressing ministers to run camp politics, he alleged.

He demanded that the Election Commission should take serious action on violation of election code by the TRS party. We will take up the issue with the EC, he said. At KCR’s behest the ministers and ruling party leaders are threatening MPTCs, ZPTCs and others to join the ruling party, he charged.

Despite lack of cadre strength the TRS is encouraging defections for winning the elections, he fumed. He expressed surprise at the TRS for trying to win two MLC seats in Khammam wherein they have only 4 votes, and two seats in Mahbubnagar wherein the TRS has only 300 votes, he said. The TRS should stop camp politics and threatening the leaders, he suggested.
