Book exhibition set to enthral book lovers
The 27th book exhibition will be inaugurated at PWD grounds in Vijayawada on January 1 at 6pm. Collector Babu A will preside over the programme and Sahitya Academy award winner Rachapalem Chandrasekhara Reddy will inaugurate the book exhibition.

Giving details of the book exhibition, Vijayawada book festival society president B Babjee informed that chief secretary IYR Krishna Rao, MP Kesineni Srinivas, Minister for Water resources Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, Mayor K Sridhar, Sakshi editor K Ramachandra Murthy and TV 9 CEO V Raviprakash will attend the inaugural function.
He said the book festival grounds was named as Muvvala Perumallu premises and literary dais was named after Chalasani Prasad. A padayatra of book lovers will be organised on January 4 at 4 pm from Press club to the venue. The centenary celebrations of Buchibabu will be held on January 5 and Gurajada 100 death anniversary would be observed on January 6.
Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu will release a book on January 9. The book festival society president said that over 150 publishers are participating in the book exhibition from all over the country.
He said the valedictory programme would be held on January 11 at 9.30 am. The exhibition will be open from 2 pm to 9 pm every day.
