He came up with an innovative method of taking this cart load of books to various busy localities in Hyderabad to sell books on poetry. “I can confidently say that people do read poetry books.

Just on a Sunday our stall did a business of Rs 22,000,” says Sheik, who has also recently published a book by a famous author who was missing from the literary scene for a long time, Konakanchi. “He is a very good poet and writer, but for long he was away from public life. I spotted him and persuaded him to write. I am very happy that I could publish his poetry book, ‘Mantralipi’”, he shares.
