Hawkers, building owners condemn HMR MD’s statement
Sultan Bazaar Traders Association (SBTA), Sultan Bazaar Building Owners Association and Sultan Bazaar Hawkers Association have jointly condemned the statement of Hyderabad Metro Rail MD NVS Reddy that they have settled the matter with him.

In a press note released here on Saturday, leaders of these associations said, “Till now neither any government official nor Hyderabad Metro Rail officials have invited and discussed with us about the issue of HMR alignment through Sultan Bazaar.”
The publication of photos in newspapers that a meeting was held between them and Metro officials is totally false and those who attended the meeting did not consult them.
They urged the State government to verify the facts and know the people who would be genuinely get affected.
“We once again request the Hyderabad Metro Rail authorities and the State government to look into the matter seriously and make diversion of Metro Rail to save the livelihood of thousands of people and heritage market,” they said.
