Known for his honeyed voice and enigmatic stage presence, Sonu Nigam performed at the Gachibowli Stadium on the penultimate day of the Sky Fest.

About 15,000 people were spell-bound by his unique interactive styled concert, the proceeds of which will be used for Sparsh Hospice to provide free treatment to terminally ill patients.

From the word go, the concert caught on with the audience, who cheered loud for the star singer as the emcee asked, “Who is the biggest fan of Sonu Nigam?”

Budding talent, Prajakta Shukre performed the opening act and sang numbers, which include "Main Pareshan Pareshaan" followed by "Na there bina tho ki jaane kaha”, “Dam Maro Dam” among others.

Accompanied by his group of dancers, Sonu Nigam entered with the song “Shukhriya, Shukhriya” followed by pumping up the crowd with “Mera rang de basanti” from the movie, ‘Legend of Bhagat Singh’.

Sonu Nigam used every possible trick to engage the audience, who sang with him on request and applauded to the rooftops. The Fest ended with performances by RP Patnaik, singer Smita, who just launched ‘Bahu Kiliki’, a new album on Sunday evening.
