Novel neuro pain reliever launched
City-based Rithwik Pharma Pvt Ltd launched an innovative pain-reliever device at Tourism Plaza in Begumpet on Tuesday.
City-based Rithwik Pharma Pvt Ltd launched an innovative pain-reliever device at Tourism Plaza in Begumpet on Tuesday.
Devised by Dr Kalvakuntla Sanjay, spinal surgeon at Yashoda Hospital and Dr Krishnakanth Reddy, neurologist from Missouri in USA, the device addresses chronic neruo-muscular pain. “This device is an advanced USA patented medical device and is an FDA cleared product.
It effectively works on nerves, muscle and arthritic problems and as professional equipment that can be used by self or with the help of others,” said Dr Kalvakuntla Sanjay and Dr Krishnakanth Reddy.
The relief is achieved in a non pharmaceutical way, naturally, safely and effectively with no side effects. It employs Neuro modulation in form of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. When applied near the affected site it discharges electrical stimulation to reach underlying nerve and muscle fibers altering and or blocking pain signals through nerves, spinal cord and brain.
“This leads to enhancement in pain relieving through endogenous natural opioids and Neuro transmitters by modulation of nerve fibers giving pain relief,” they added.
