Zoo gets 10 lakh towards animal adoption

The Nehru Zoological Park’s animal adoption scheme received a fillip on Tuesday in the form of Rs 10 lakh donation. NS Ramjee, retired IPS officer handed over a cheque to the curator G Ravi. Ramjee has been adopting animals for the last five years that include a male elephant, giraffe, rhino and five pairs of peacock.
