Kodada (Nalgonda): Eight persons were injured when the autorickshaw, in which they were travelling, was hit by a speeding vehicle coming from opposite direction at the Nallabandagudem of Kodada (rural) mandal on Tuesday.
The condition of two persons was said to be critical.
The eight persons were on their way to work at a factory near Vijayawada.
The injured were shifted to a private hospital near Kodada. Police took up investigation into the accident.
