Asifabad (Adilabad): The Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Janakapur town was burgled after midnight on Monday.
According to the Police Station House Officer, Satish, the temple priest found the temple hundi broken when he opened the temple doors on Tuesday morning.
Immediately, the chairman of the Temple Committee, Satyanarayana, informed the police.
The police led by SHO Satish rushed to the spot and inspected the temple.
The thieves decamped with some cash and the idols of Sri Rama and Hanuman.
A case has been booked and investigation is on.
