Kotagiri (Nizamabad): The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials caught the Kotagiri Mandal Tahasildar office Senior Assistant red-handedly while taking a bribe of Rs 2,000 from a retired Revenue Inspector (RI).

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, ACB, DSP Surender Reddy said that Mohammed Ismail retired as a Revenue Inspector from Kotagiri Tahasildar Office a few days ago. He requested the senor assistant Sushila to settle his pension accounts and gratuity.

But the senior assistant demanded Rs 2,0000 as bribe to settle Ismail’s pension account.

But Ismail had no intention to give a bribe to settle his account and instead, lodged a complaint with an ACB official.
On Tuesday afternoon, the ACB team red-handedly caught senor assistant Susheela while accepting the bribe from Mohammad Ismail.
A case was registered against her by the ACB.
