Just In
Just as the city’s skyline changed with the invasion of ‘mall culture’, party life has also grown and what better time to show one’s fun side than on the biggest night of the year?
Just as the city’s skyline changed with the invasion of ‘mall culture’, party life has also grown and what better time to show one’s fun side than on the biggest night of the year?
With just a day left for the New Year’s Eve (NYE), clubs and hotels are already booked with party animals ready to let their hair down and dance their way into 2016. With many of the hotels planning for the big night, Hyderabadis are spoilt with choice.
It’s the last day of the year and the hospitality sector is leaving no stone unturned to brace the event and woo revellers on the occasion.
Variety in entertainment
One of the most visited bashes is the NYE party at the Country Club. The Club management has always done something unique and special every year to enthrall the members and this year too it’s the same.
“When compared to last year we are planning for much bigger event. Actor Poonam Kaur has been roped in to perform along with the dance troupe from Mumbai,” said Mahesh Kulkarni, Programme Executive, Country club. He added, “Apart from that, we also have a DJ organised and performances by foreign artistes will be the highpoint of the evening; games and songs will also be played throughout the night.”
The Park Hotel is set to host a theme-based party to welcome the New Year.
“This year we wanted to try something new. We are organising three different parties, we came up with the themes ‘Spaced Out’, ‘Desi Bollywood Bash’ and ‘Forbidden spy’,” informed Harish, person in-charge, festive desk, The Park. He added, “Two DJ groups have been roped in from Russia apart from this the NYE feast includes drinks, unlimited snacks and a gala buffet dinner.”
The entertainment package will cost about Rs 3,999 for a single person and Rs 5,999 for a couple.
Denizens plan out in style
For most students and IT professionals NYE is all about hitting the party circuit hard.
“Like last year, I am going along with my friends to a pub and will dance the night away. After all, it’s the last day of the year and we want to make most of it,” said Pavithra Reddy, IT Professional.
Agreeing with her is Vijaysree, a fashion designing student, who said, “Every year I celebrate with my family but, this time I am planning to party all night and catch up with old friends.”
While some are planning to go out, others prefer to stay indoors and spend time with family.
“Every New Year, I eventually end up celebrating with family and even this year I will be celebrating with my parents and folks said, Nikhil Yelisetty, an IT professional.
Be it partying hard or spending time with family and friends, everybody is planning something and big and yes, this time the people surely have a lot to look out on the last day of the year.
