Kuna confident of TDP-BJP win in GHMC polls
He claimed that the combine would emerge victorious in majority of the 15 City assembly segments.
Sanathnagar Telugu Desam Party constituency in-charge, Kuna Venkatesh Goud expressed confidence of the TDP-BJP combine winning all divisions in the constituency in the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections. He claimed that the combine would emerge victorious in majority of the 15 City assembly segments.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Goud said his confidence of the two parties doing well was based on the good work done by the TDP government led by N Chandrababu Naidu in the unified State. He stated that the Naidu dispensation had developed the twin cities by constructing flyovers, roads and sports auditoria. It had established the Hitec City giving a boost to the IT sector.
The TDP leader claimed that people belonging to Telangana and settlers in Hyderabad would support the TDP-BJP combine in the GHMC elections. In addition, Goud accused the State government of reducing the number of divisions in the constituency from seven to five, fearing defeat for the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) in the Elections that are scheduled to be held on January 23.
