In a spiritual start to the New Year, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev conducted an insightful, witty and incisive discourse for about 4,500 people at the JRC Convention Hall in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad recently.

In a programme titled ‘An Evening with the Mystic – Wisdom, Meditation and Bliss’, Sadhguru spoke of the significance of keeping time and the cyclical nature of physicality. Busting a few myths that are rife about spirituality, Sadhguru said, “If you eat badly, if you dress badly, people think you must be spiritual. But, spirituality means to know the very core of what life is.”

In a detailed and fascinating exposition, Sadhguru touched on the limited nature of the senses, the four dimensions of the mind, the evolutionary process, the mass of memory that is contained in the human body and the immense potential of being human.

His unique discourse was interspersed with jokes that had listeners laughing out loud. Later, an absorbing interactive question-and-answer session followed between Sadhguru and the audience. In response to a question, Sadhguru said, “There is no need to label people as good and bad. Everybody is a possibility.”

This is the first of a three-city itinerary for Sadhguru, organised by Isha Foundation. He will address gatherings in Tirupati on Monday January and Vishakhapatnam on Tuesday.
