Shabbir Ali threatened me, alleges MLC candidate

Nizamabad: Local Bodies MLC congress candidate Venkatramana Reddy on Saturday alleged that Congress party leaders Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Madhu Yashki, K R Suresh Reddy and Anil, harassed him to distribute the amount of Rs 2 crore to the voters in MLC elections and he had to withdraw his nominations papers because of their harressment.Addressing the media conference in at the R & B guest house the town, Venkataramana Reddy said that no one came for ward to contest on the congress party ticket to contest in the in this elections. In this situation, party leader Shabbier Ali and other put pressure on him to contest the elections, he lamented,. He said that he collected Rs 2 crore after borrowing from several sources and gave it to Shabbier Ali.
Venkatramana Reddy said, after withdrawing his nomination, he met Shabbir Ali and explained the reasons for his withdrawal and asked him to return the deposited amount. But the Congress leader Shabbir Ali threatened him and refused to return the money worth Rs 2 crore. He said that he would complain against Nizamabad district congress leaders Shabbir Ali, Madhu Yaski and others to the AICC Vice-president Rahul Gandhi on this issue and urge him to take stringent action against them.
