DGP reviews security arrangements at Medaram

Hyderabad: Director General of Police Anurag Sharma on Sunday reviewed the security arrangements for Medaram Jatara, a traditional event held by the State government.
The DGP has reviewed the traffic routes and parking arrangements at Medaram. He asked the officials to take special care in making arrangements near Jampanna Lake and also to install queue lines for pilgrims.
He inspected the double-line road being laid between Pasra and Tadwai.
Speaking to the media, the DGP said necessary security arrangements were being made to ensure public safety during Medaram Jatara and expressed his confidence that the religious event would conclude peacefully.
Intelligence IG B Sivadhar Reddy, DIG B Malla Reddy, SP Amber Kishore Jha, Mulug ASP Viswajet Kampati and other officers were also present during the review.
