Search op: 45 suspects taken into police custody
As many as 45 persons, suspected to be involved in various offences were detained by the Cyberabad police on Sunday. The search operation at Suraram Weaker Sections colony and Telugu Talli Nagar commenced at 4 am and ended by 7 am on Sunday.
Hyderabad: As many as 45 persons, suspected to be involved in various offences were detained by the Cyberabad police on Sunday. The search operation at Suraram Weaker Sections colony and Telugu Talli Nagar commenced at 4 am and ended by 7 am on Sunday.
During the operation, the police have taken 45 suspects into their custody. “The detainees include three chain snatchers, two house breaking offenders, a habitual thief, seven automobile thieves, one cattle thief, 28 vehicle- lifting suspects and three toddy sellers.
We have to verify their veracity,” said Balanagar Additional DCP B Srinivasa Reddy, who led the teams during search operation. He said that one car, 10 autos, 22 bikes, one auto trolley, found in detainees’ possession were seized. Three belt shops that were run illegally seized.
