Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy advised Muslim children to learn better communication skills to ensure their survival and growth in the highly competitive world.

Addressing the Annual Day Meet 2015-16 of a private school here on Sunday, Uttam Kumar Reddy praised the school management for merging Islamic education with modern-education. He said this mode of education would enable children to learn both Islamic knowledge and also modern education.
He advised Muslim children to learn English, computers and focus on improving their communication skills. He offered his complete support to the school management in all its endeavors. Greater Hyderabad Congress (Minorities Dept) chairman Shaik Abdullah Sohail, Hazrath Syed Mohammed Siddique Hussaini Arif Pasha Quadri, Khaja Mohiuddin Quadri, assistant professor of Shadan College Mohammed Sayeed and TSCBOA president Syed Nizamuddin took part in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Nizamuddin asked the students to learn Islamic history and get acquainted with the life and teachings of Prophet Mohammed. He said learning 'Seerat-un-Nabi' was essential for all Muslims and they should enlighten the rest of the world about the teachings of the Prophet.
He said it was purely due to ignorance and lack of knowledge that some miscreants had made highly objectionable remarks on Prophet
Mohammed. He said it was the duty of all Muslims to spread the teachings of Prophet Mohammed which would prevent all kinds of criticism and misunderstandings.
Meritorious students were given awards on the occasion and some children presented cultural and sports related demonstrations.
