Four BBA students, Avdesh Agarwal (20), Krishna Agarwal (19), Shubhank Gupta (19) and Umang Tolasariya (20) faced a situation of limited funds as all students do. Consequently, the idea initiated to provide a medium where they could “feel proud” and not “ashamed” to ask for deals and discounts at hangouts.

The students formulated the business model in the form of a physical coupons/voucher book, which was launched on Monday. The same will be available in an app version soon. The book covers discounts in sectors like restaurants, nightlife, entertainment, café and lounges, bakeries and confectioneries and spas and salons.

Dealwala Voucher Book has 109 brands with about 300 exciting deals, the booking is now available in the market and people can buy the book at www.dealwala.in.
The young entrepreneurs faced challenges in the market in that they had to convince business owners to be associated with them, apart from managing their education.

“Our aim is to see people use "dealwala" as a possession, rather than being shy to ask for a deal or discount,” said one of the entrepreneur.
