The Army Public School in Bolarum (APSB) was recently awarded the Academic Excellence Award 2015-16 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) for being the best school under the medium category to show maximum progress in class XII Board result.

A cash prize of Rs 75,000 and a silver trophy were presented to the school in a ceremonious function. Principal Smitha Govind along with students of class XII viz. Shubham Saha, Bijayalaxmi Sethi and Madhuri Kumari received the award from Lt. Gen Man Mohan Singh Rai AVSM, VSM, Vice-Chief of Army staff in New Delhi.
Meritorious students of APSB has also received cash incentives worth Rs 1,50,000 from Lt. Gen Jagbir Singh SM, VSM, GOC Dakshin Bharat Area. Maj. Gen. Sharabh Pachory, VSM, GOC TASA, Patron Army Public School Bolarum and Brig. Ajay Mallik, Comdt 1EME Centre and Chairman Army Public School Bolarum congratulated the students for their historic achievement.
