Jain saint receives a gala welcome
Jain Samaj along with other allied communities received the Antermana Muni Prasann Sagarji Maharaj, a saint travelling on foot to spread a message of universal peace and brotherhood, at a gala celebration on Wednesday. He reached Hyderabad from Nagpur after walking 700 kilometers on Wednesday.

The Jain saint has travelled 55,000km on foot through mountains, deserts, snows and plains thus crossing many cities, towns and villages to spread the message and teach the people to respect traditional value. It is said that he travels without clothes or slippers and eats only one time a day.
In his struggle to spread the word of humanity to the communities, he will embark on a journey to another city after his brief stay in in Hyderabad. A special chartered plane was arranged to shower flowers upon him.
The members of Jain Samaj and other community members followed him on a 1.5 km yatra (Walk) from Delhi Public School gate, Manikonda till Lanco Hills.
