Taking up womens health priorities
A breast and cervical cancer screening camp was organised by the Lions Club of Bhagyanagar in association with MNJ Cancer Hospital at FPA premises on Thursday. Upto 52 women were registered in the camp that underwent VIA screening and about 24 women underwent Pap smear examination for cervical cancer.

All women underwent breast examination. In addition, a blood donation camp was also organised on the spot, wherein the youth donated blood. The camp was inaugurated by Dr P Balamba, President, FPA, Hyderabad and was attended by doctors from MNJ Cancer Hospital.
Dr Shankar Mahadev, Dr Sandhya and Dr Manasa from MNJ Cancer Hospital and Dr Nalini Devrajan from FPA Hyderabad checked the patients free of cost and provided medicines. The camp was attended by Wing commander MVN Rao, Hon. Secretary, FPA India Hyderabad and President of Lions Club of Bhagyanagar, Dr Renu Kapoor and Prashant Saraf from FPA India Hyderabad.
