Life sciences exhibition held by student association

Many students who are pursuing science as a primary subject in their graduation and post graduation courses have taken part in the state level inter collegiate competitions at ‘CIENCIA-2016’, organized by Student Association of Life Sciences of PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College in the city on Friday. Several academic and cultural activities were organised on the occasion.

The programme which is intended to create awareness among children and inspire youth in Science and technology conducted activities like poster presentation, paper presentation, collage, quiz, communication skills, scientific model display and etc. Several exhibits from the institute’s science labs including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Zoology were displayed for the participants and students.

From human body anatomy to that of a few days old animal embryos, the expo has it all. Students also participated in extracurricular competitions like dance, instrumental and singing. There also was a ramp walk that really enthralled the students. Students from various schools visited the exhibition. Principal of the College M V N Padma Rao, director V Babu Rao, faculty, students and others were present during the event.
