Minister inspects Lakaram lake
Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao inspected the second phase works of Lakaram lake under Mission Kakatiya in Khammam town on Friday.

The Minister ordered the Executive Engineer of Minor Irrigation department Chitti Rao to complete the works within three days. He asked the executive engineer to prepare the lake in such a way that it can be filled with the Sagar water to fulfil the drinking water needs of the people during summer.
He also warned the officials to take precautions preventing the drainage water from mixing in the lake. The Minister directed the Khammam Tahsildar Venkat Reddy to take actions on those people who encroached the land in and around the Lakaram lake.
Municipal Commissioner Venu Gopal Reddy, DCCB Chairman Muvva Vijay Babu among others were present.
