The fifth anniversary celebrations of the Animal Rehabilitation and Protection Front (ARPF) held at Bhaskara Auditorium on Sunday mentioned the highlights, activities, projects and achievements of the organisation.

The fifth anniversary celebrations of the Animal Rehabilitation and Protection Front (ARPF) held at Bhaskara Auditorium on Sunday mentioned the highlights, activities, projects and achievements of the organisation. Awards were given away to volunteers and members for their performance in 2015. The two young volunteers, Aishani Jain and Arjun, aged 12 and 8 respectively won the Outstanding Contribution Award and Young Volunteer Award, respectively.

Rakesh Gabbar of Indore branch bagged the ‘Best Outstanding Contribution Award’, Manisha and Smrithika were ‘Best Interns’ Hyderabad, Vasudev, Naman and Shabaz were ‘Best Volunteers’, Subheem and Aishwarya were ‘Star Volunteers’, ARPF Visakhapatnam won for ‘Best Event Management’, Deepak won for ‘Best departmental lead’, Nest (Networking of sparrow conservative teams) won for ‘Best Department’ and ‘Best branch Director’ was won by Praveen Sanapala.

Speaking at the event, ‘Best President Award’ winner Naman of Indore branch said, “Every day at the zoo is a new experience in the field of animal interaction. Identifying their hard work and encouraging members and volunteers to contribute more is notable. Confidence is gained as a result.” Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Secretary IT, Telangana, Raghuvir Ponnangi, additional PCCF, Mallikarjuna Rao, IFS, Additional PCCF, Dr G Chandrasekhar Reddy, IFS and Adnan Sajid Khan, cine actor and producer were present at the event. In addition, a magazine was launched.
