Art of Living, a global movement founded by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, has announced the dates for the ‘World Culture Festival’ (WCF). The festival, which will bring together people from all walks of life and cultures, is set to be held from March 11-13 at New Delhi.

The fest is expected to have millions of people turning up from over 155 countries. The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Lalit Kala Akademi and National School of Drama.

Speaking about the same, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said, “We are all part of humanity and we express ourselves differently through various forms of music, art and food. Celebrating our diverse cultures binds us together and expands our perspectives.

WCF emphasises on co-existence and the power of peace. It is an opportunity for world leaders from cultural, social, political, business fields to come together to rekindle human values in the pursuit of happiness and peace.”

The 3-day grand festival will have a massive 7-acre stage to seat the artistes and dignitaries who come. The aim in all of this is to maintain one platform for all and to keep it alive for the future generations as well. On all the three days of the festival, the Art of Living Founder will lead a ‘Peace Meditation’.
