With three days of intense competition with 12 leading Hotel Management and Catering Colleges, Hyderabad’s Culinary Academy of India (CAI) emerged as the champions at the National Budding Chef Competition (NBCC 2016) recently.

With three days of intense competition with 12 leading Hotel Management and Catering Colleges, Hyderabad’s Culinary Academy of India (CAI) emerged as the champions at the National Budding Chef Competition (NBCC 2016) recently.

Seven final year students and senior chef instructor, SA Attique from CAI participated in the competition hosted by AURO University, Surat. The food was displayed by CAI in various categories was appreciated by one and all the judges who evaluated the products were very appreciative of the culinary skills demonstrated by the students of CAI.

CAI won five gold medals viz. in cake decoration, petit fours and cupcake decoration; carve to add life, international cuisine competition and liquid flavors. The team also participated in two other competitions, the Kebab Chefs and National Gourmands where they stood fifth.
