Minister for Information and Technology K Taraka Rama Rao here on Sunday reiterated the government’s resolve to ensure protection to one and all. He pointed out that there was not even a single incident of violence against those settled in the city since the TRS took over reins of government.

Hyderabad: Minister for Information and Technology K Taraka Rama Rao here on Sunday reiterated the government’s resolve to ensure protection to one and all. He pointed out that there was not even a single incident of violence against those settled in the city since the TRS took over reins of government.

KTR along with Ministers Tummala Nageshwar Rao, MLAs Krishna Rao, Jeevan Reddy made a whistle-stop tour in Kukatapally area. “We have faced teething problems. But, we gradually built up structure and addressed the issues,” KTR said. He appealed to the voters to not to vote for the Congress or other opposition parties who had failed to develop the city when they were in power.

The misinformation campaign launched by the Opposition in the run-up to the bifurcation of the State was effectively proved wrong. The State government was giving top priority to welfare, power, water, better roads and other amenities and resolved many problems. The TRS government was able to tide over power crisis and now the people were enjoying uninterrupted power supply and security. He said the “She Teams,” were effeively providing security to women.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s has clear vision on Hyderabad city and embarked on ambitious plan to develop it as world-class city. The Google, Amazon and other such international companies were coming to Hyderabad to make huge investments he said. KCR’s new industrial policy secured accolades from across the nation and Rs 25,000 crore investments came pouring in, he claimed.

He took a jibe at Telugu Desam Party national president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for claiming to have pushed Hyderabad onto global map with a couple of structures. “We have inherited the legacy of neglect of twin cities during the last 60 years of misrule of the previous governments,” he said. The government was constructing two reservoirs to store 30 tmcft of water each to overcome drinking water problem in twin cities, he said.
