In view of this, more than a hundred volunteers and people from different walks of life participated in the Let’s Vote Blood Donation camp and 3K Walk on Monday.
Over 200 participants turned up in spite of the chilly winter morning and lent their support to the voter awareness campaign and pledged to support the GHMC Commissioner's optimism to set voter turnout record in the upcoming GHMC election.
State Election Commissioner of Telangana and Dr B Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner, GHMC, cheered the effort of Let’s Vote for the endeavour. “I sincerely hope that such movement will enthuse not only existing voters to participate in the local body elections but also excite new voter registration who are keen to participate in all around development of their city, state and nation,” said Dr Janardhan Reddy.
