Hyderabad: Hyderabad city will host sixth edition of FICCI’s ‘Media and Entertainment Business Conclave on Monday. The day-long conclave will showcase the huge potential for developing the Indian entertainment market in South India, especially in Telangana State.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will inaugurate the conference. It will be addressed by FICCI-Media and Entertainment Committee-Telangana State and AP D Suresh Babu, Co-chairman Ramesh Sippy and FICCI Film Forum chairman Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra.

The conclave will bring together over 350 media and entertainment business people from southern India along with government officials in a bid to deliberate on issues confronting the industry across various southern states. The business sessions at the Conclave will cover the entire gamut of Media and Entertainment like Films, Broadcast (TV & Radio), Digital Entertainment, Animation, Gaming, and Visual Effects.

The day-long session will deliberate on the topics like “making Hyderabad a hub of media & entertainment industry, enabling the digital content and creative ecosystem in Telangana State, benefits of film tourism in Telangana State.” Actors Nagarjuna, D Venkatesh and Allu Arjun will be in conversation with Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra in the first session.

The second sessions will be addressed IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao, IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Secretary-Tourism B Venkestesham (IAS) and Allu Arvind, noted producers and other dignitaries from the Media and Entertainment Industry in India.
