Hyderabad: Dr Y P Rai, has joined as new Chief Postmaster General, Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle covering Andhra Pradesh & Telangana States on January 25. He did his Doctorate in Biochemistry from Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi.
He is also a graduate from Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. He Joined Indian Postal Service in 1984. Besides holding various appointments in Department of Posts, he has also served in Army and Central government in various capacities. Prior to joining as Chief Postmaster General, Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle, he worked as Chief Postmaster General, Chhattisgarh Postal Circle.
